Dr. George Taylor

Dr. George Taylor is a life-long gardener and founding member of the Sweetgrass Garden Co-op, a non-profit community garden on Johns Island, South Carolina. His work with field trials and SARE grants sparked his interest in using live algae as a biofertilizer, leading to his involvement with Enlightened Soil Corp. He continues to conduct field research on algae’s effectiveness as a bio-stimulant across various settings. Outside the garden, Dr. Taylor is a professor of medicine and cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

How Can Food be Medicinal? A Free Webinar with Dr. George Taylor

This free webinar with Dr. George Taylor, retired cardiologist and founder of EnSoil Algae, explores the molecular science behind the "Food Is Medicine" movement. Dr. Taylor will connect regenerative agriculture to human health by examining how nutrient-dense foods reduce inflammation and oxidation at the cellular level. Attendees will gain insight into the role of polyphenols as the true “medicine” in food and learn how future research may allow consumers to measure a food’s medicinal value. The session will conclude with live Q&A.

The Science Behind “Food Is Medicine”

Discover how nutrient-dense foods impact inflammation and oxidation at the molecular level to promote true health.

The Power of Polyphenols

Learn why foods grown using regenerative practices contain higher levels of these healing compounds—and why they matter.

The Future of Measurable Nutrition

See how new research from EnSoil Algae could soon allow consumers to quantify and choose foods based on their medicinal value.
